Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with Reformed Theological Seminary classmate, Chris Jones, who is the host of Hymnology. Here is a excerpt from the podcast describing the show:

Each week, musician Chris Jones shares stories behind some of the most beloved worship songs in the Protestant hymnal. Whether you are interested in learning more about worship or just hoping to find a weekly audio devotional, Hymnology will take you through the history of hymns and the meaning behind the music.

Chris brought me in to talk about RAANetwork, but we also talked through one of my favorite hymns entitled We Will Understand It Better By and By by Charles Tindley. If you’re not familiar with the song, you can listen below. I really enjoyed my time with the good folk over at Hymnology and thankful that would bring me on.

Here is a link to the song.

Question:

What is your favorite hymnal or Negro Spiritual? Would love to hear from you!
