RAANetwork’s desire is to move beyond just being an Internet voice for blogs and current events towards strategically enriching the Reformed black and global church experience. To facilitate this vision, we have started an online resource simply called The Network. The Network has 3 main functions: a Job Board, a Church Directory and Ask the Network. We aim to counteract the loneliness that many Reformed black Christians feel by connecting them with others of a like mind and heart.

The Job Board

The encouraging influx of Reformed theology in urban areas has presented many opportunities for growth and expansion. As Jesus explains in Matthew 9, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” The RAANetwork Job Board exists to connect eager laborers to the plenteous modern harvest fields. Through the Job Board, those who are looking for employment in Reformed organizations, schools and ministries can get the latest updates on openings in urban or multi-ethnic settings that fit their particular interest. Teachers, administrators, aspiring ministers and leaders can fill open positions to tangibly reach people with the gospel.

The Church Directory

RAANetwork passionately believes in the local church as a God-ordained community of believers that every Christian should walk with for spiritual maturity. Reformed blacks are well aware of the difficulty in finding churches that are both theologically rooted and contextualized to their cultural preference. The Church Directory assists fellow believers in their search to find these healthy churches. Churches that have a passion for reaching urban, multi-ethnic and black contexts with the gospel and who want to publicly align themselves with the Reformed African American Network vision and confession are invited to join this powerful directory resource.

Ask the Network

Finally, we are keenly sensitive to the fact that no one in the faith “graduates” past having questions and issues of concern that they actively wrestle with. Ask the Network is an interactive place for readers to openly ask questions relating to living their life for the glory of God. We seek to help all seeking out answers to both cultural, practical and theological questions they are facing as they walk out their faith at home with their families, in schools, on their jobs and in their churches. We invite brothers and sisters throughout the global church to ask whatever questions or express concerns they have as they are seeking to engage Christ’s diverse church. No question or topic is off limits. We’re calling for honest questions to get you honest answers. These various questions and topics will be addressed via blog, video or the Pass The Mic podcast.

The Network is just one of many ways that RAANetwork seeks to tangibly impact the core concerns of African Americans biblically. By providing connecting tools through the Job Board, Church Directory and Ask the Network, we are furthering our mission. We hope that our readers find these resources healthy for cultivating discipleship and engaging the global church for the glory of God.
