Many of us struggle to process the events of Ferguson. Since the grand jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of teenager Mike Brown, a complex of emotions swirls around our country. Some experience rage, others vindication, and others still don’t know what to feel.
The RAAnetwork held a special live podcast of Pass the Mic to help us think through the implications of Ferguson from a Christian viewpoint. We assembled an array of commentators with a variety of perspectives. Here’s the list of participants:
Michelle Higgins-Director of Worship and Outreach, South City Church
John Richards-Managing Editor, Urban Faith and RAANetwork
Tyler Burns-Youth Pastor
Dr. Carl Ellis, Jr.-Visiting Professor, RTS Jackson and Adjunct Professor of Theology, Redeemer Seminary
Jemar Tisby-Co-founder and President of the Reformed African American Network | RAAN
